J. Albert Clyburn brings over twenty years of experience to each client. He has represented clients in all divisions of the North Carolina court system including the district court, superior court, the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court. J. Albert Clyburn has been certified by the state of North Carolina as a family law mediator. As a mediator, J. Albert Clyburn works with other attorneys and their clients to resolve their family law disputes before going to trial.
J. Albert Clyburn is a graduate of North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
J. Albert Clyburn has served on the family law section of the North Carolina Bar Association. He has also served as a guest speaker for the Wake Forest University School of Law and for the North Carolina Bar Association. J. Albert Clyburn has authored three articles associated with his speaking engagements which include “Procedural Problems and Methods in Equitable Distribution Cases,”and “Understanding and Preparing for a Child Custody Evaluation.”
J. Albert Clyburn is licensed to practice in all state courts of North Carolina and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
